Art Week at Camp Bodhisatva
Let Nature bring out the artist in your child with this week-long Art camp in the lap of the Himalayas !
It’s time to get down & dirty in this active, on-mountain workshop and acquire new art skills by utilising techniques involving paints, craft materials and clay!
We will create a dynamic and nurturing environment for budding artists while enhancing an appreciation of the natural world around them.
Taking inspiration from Contemporary and Renaissance artists, the children will explore the use of colour, design and composition. Experimentation, observation and attention to detail will be emphasised. Projects will range from the whimsical to the utilitarian.
The programme will include nature treks, yoga, meditation besides daily adventure activities like rock climbing, rappelling and flying fox, orchestrated by trained professionals. Children will also undertake a field excursion to the celebrated Bhuira Jam factory.
The week will culminate with a sketchbook display, a visual documentation of their week long journey, along with an exhibition of their works curated by the instructors and the children themselves !
We have three professional artists from College Of Art, New Delhi leading the workshop.
Neerajj Mittra is a versatile multi disciplinary visual artist , painter and sculptor.
Shikha Osan is from the world of Advertising and has been a senior Art teacher at The Shriram School, Aravali.
Uttara Khan has been a designer with a Handicrafts Company and is currently doing commissioned Paintings & Interior projects.
We invite you to enroll your child in this unique, memorable and fun Artventure.
